Fixed labour pricing (Cape Town)

Small bathroom (up to 5m²): R34,000 labour
Medium bathroom (5–8m²): R39,000 labour
Large bathroom (8m²+): R44,000 labour

These labour prices have not changed since 2014. Materials are sourced separately.

What’s included in our labour price

Our fixed labour pricing typically includes:

  • Demolition and removal of existing bathroom fittings and finishes

  • Plumbing labour (as required for the renovation scope)

  • Electrical labour (as required for the renovation scope)

  • Waterproofing (including required drying time)

  • Screeding and preparation work where needed

  • Tiling labour (walls and floors as per the agreed design)

  • Installation of sanitaryware and bathroom accessories

  • Final sealing, finishing, and clean-up

  • Rubble removal (as applicable to the project scope)

What’s not included (materials)

Materials are not included in the labour price. This typically includes:

  • Tiles

  • Bath / shower

  • Basin / vanity

  • Toilet

  • Taps and mixers

  • Shower doors / screens

  • Mirrors and accessories

  • Specialty finishes and feature items

You can source materials yourself, or we can guide you to suppliers based on your budget and style.
